Terms & Conditions – far and beyond travel
Terms & Conditions
Far and Beyond Travel
These Terms & Conditions apply to tours, transfers, activities, tailor-made itineraries and other travel services booked directly with Far and Beyond Travel.
By making or confirming a booking, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
Where a quotation, booking confirmation, product description or special offer contains specific payment, cancellation or booking conditions, those specific conditions take precedence over these general Terms & Conditions for the relevant booking or service.
1. Booking, Payment & Prices
All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.
Full payment is required in advance to confirm a booking unless different arrangements have been agreed in writing. A booking is confirmed only once the required payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by Far and Beyond Travel.
Prices are based on the confirmed services, itinerary and number of participants. Changes may result in a revised price.
Entrance tickets, meals, gratuities and other expenses are not included unless specifically stated.
Banks, card issuers or other payment providers may charge transaction, exchange-rate or currency-conversion fees. These charges are the responsibility of the client.
2. Children & Tipping
For standard private day tours:
- Children aged 6 years and older are charged the adult rate.
- Children under 6 may participate free of charge, excluding entrance tickets and third-party charges where applicable.
Different child rates or age restrictions may apply to specific activities or services and will be stated before booking.
Tipping is customary in Egypt but entirely voluntary unless specifically stated otherwise.
3. Tailor-Made Bookings & Changes
Tailor-made itineraries are prepared according to the client’s requested destinations, interests and travel plans.
The payment and cancellation conditions stated in the applicable quotation or booking confirmation apply.
Requests to change a confirmed booking are subject to availability and operational feasibility. Any additional costs resulting from requested changes are payable by the client.
If a requested change cannot be accommodated, the original booking conditions remain applicable.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email.
Tours
- Free cancellation when received 15 or more calendar days before the scheduled tour date.
- Cancellations received 14 calendar days or less before the tour date are non-refundable.
Transfers
- Free cancellation when received at least 72 hours before the scheduled transfer time.
- Cancellations received less than 72 hours before the scheduled transfer are non-refundable.
Special services, tailor-made arrangements, tickets, activities or third-party services may have different or stricter cancellation conditions. Where applicable, these will be communicated before confirmation and will take precedence for that part of the booking.
Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method where possible. Non-refundable bank, payment-provider or currency-conversion charges may not be recoverable, subject to applicable law.
5. No-Show, Delays & Transfers
No refund is provided in the event of a no-show.
Clients are responsible for being at the agreed meeting or pick-up point at the confirmed time and for providing accurate flight, train or other arrival information.
If delayed, clients should contact Far and Beyond Travel as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate delays, but additional waiting, rescheduling or replacement services may incur additional charges.
For airport transfers, we may monitor publicly available flight information where available, but clients remain responsible for providing correct arrival details.
If a delay makes it impossible to provide the booked service, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
6. Permits & Identification
Certain journeys, transfers or activities may require passport copies, identification details, permits or other documentation.
Clients are responsible for providing requested information accurately and within the required timeframe.
Far and Beyond Travel cannot guarantee a service where required permits or approvals are refused, delayed or restricted by the relevant authorities.
Personal and passport information requested for a booking or permit will be used only for the relevant booking and related administrative purposes and handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.
7. Third-Party Services
Some services may be provided wholly or partly by independent third parties, including guides, transport providers, boats, activity operators, airlines, rail operators and ticketing providers.
Far and Beyond Travel selects and coordinates such providers with reasonable care but is not responsible for matters outside its reasonable control relating to their independent operations.
Where a third-party provider has specific booking, cancellation, participation or safety conditions, those conditions apply to the relevant service where communicated before booking.
8. Operational Changes & Force Majeure
Far and Beyond Travel may make reasonable changes to routes, timing, guides, vehicles, meeting points or the order of visits where necessary for operational, logistical, safety or regulatory reasons.
Changes may result from circumstances such as weather, road conditions, site closures, permits, government instructions, security restrictions, strikes or major transportation disruption.
Where practical, clients will be informed of significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.
If a service cannot be provided due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we may offer a reasonable alternative, rescheduling, travel credit or a refund of recoverable amounts.
Non-refundable third-party costs already incurred may be taken into account, subject to applicable law.
Where travel credit is offered, it will normally be valid for 12 months from the original travel date, unless otherwise stated.
9. Responsibility & Liability
Far and Beyond Travel will exercise reasonable care in arranging and providing confirmed services.
We are not responsible for loss, damage, injury, delay or additional costs caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by the independent acts or omissions of third-party providers.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability where this is prohibited by applicable law.
Clients are responsible for their personal belongings, passports, visas, entry and health requirements, and for following reasonable instructions from guides, drivers, operators and relevant authorities.
10. Travel Insurance, Health & Accessibility
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation, trip interruption, personal belongings and unforeseen travel disruption.
Clients should inform Far and Beyond Travel before booking of any mobility limitation, medical condition or other circumstance that may affect safe participation or require special arrangements.
Some archaeological sites, vehicles, boats and activities may involve uneven ground, stairs, heat, walking or limited accessibility.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist but cannot guarantee that every service will be suitable or accessible for every traveller.
11. Client Conduct
Clients are expected to behave responsibly and comply with local laws, safety instructions and site regulations.
Far and Beyond Travel may refuse or discontinue a service where a client’s behaviour is unlawful, abusive, creates a serious safety risk or materially disrupts the service.
Where a service is discontinued because of serious misconduct by the client, no refund will normally be due, subject to applicable law.
12. Complaints
Any problem should be reported to Far and Beyond Travel as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to address it during the service.
Formal complaints may be submitted to:

Please include sufficient information to identify the booking and explain the issue.
13. Governing Law & Contact Details
