Itinerary

A beautiful walk-through Karnak temple in the evening in which you hear everything about this gigantic temple complex with light and sound effects, then you can take a seat at the sacred lake to continue enjoying the show. The show lasts about 75 minutes in total.

Karnak temple
Karnak, which takes its name from the nearby village of El-Karnak, is a temple complex on the east bank of the river Nile north of Luxor, Egypt, and possibly the largest religious structure in the world.

Karnak differs from other temples in that it has been built for so long by successive pharaohs. Construction began in the Middle Kingdom under Senusret I, although the largest buildings date from the New Kingdom, 30 pharaohs took part in the whole project.

The show is available in several languages, see the schedule below (subject to change), the start times depend on the season.
